Luma - Rwanda
Luma is an anaerobic natural lot from the Akagera washing station in Rwanda. This red bourbon offers notes of blueberry, miso chocolate, and chestnut purée cake. Rich and elegant, it can be enjoyed especially as an espresso, or with milk.
The name Luma was inspired by fireflies. We spent the summer encountering these fleeting celestial beings. They visited us over and over again, we couldn't forget them.
The firefly has often been a symbol of resistance. Their flicker representing the persistence of utopia, even when we may be obscured by darkness.
For us, Luma carries this same spirit. A memory of light, hope that survives, of sweetness that persists. It's flavour profile reflecting a similar warmth, resilience and comfort.
